MONDAY-FRIDAY: 5:30-10:00 AM

I started radio in high school on the weekends. "Weekend Wheless" was what they called me. It was a little station in Sanford, NC called WWGP..."the Top Dog (howl) In Modern Country Music!"
I went to college at UNC-Chapel Hill and never knew what I wanted to do really until dad came home one day, threw the classifieds on the table and told me to get a job!
I found a radio job and eventually came to WQDR, left for a while to work at K-95 in Richmond, came back to QDR and here I am still.
Why? Sometimes I ask myself that too! I know why. I love my career. I love making people laugh. I love my home, where I was born...North Carolina. It's a great place to raise my daughter! Sometimes I talk too much about her...but like most proud parents, I can't help but bragg.
I'm older now, so I like doing grown-up stuff like working in the yard, grilling out with neighbors, watching a Carolina Mudcats game, riding bikes with my daughter.
I grew up watching Hee Haw on Saturday nights...which must have been the start of my love for country. I love the old guys! George Jones, Merle, Waylon, Paycheck, and Jerry Reed...but Dwight caught my ear years ago...so did Garth... I like Gary Allan and Joe Nichols kicks butt! I also like to hear myself sing in the shower...but I don't guess you care about that!
